Barça B and Celta draw one all in a vibrant game

Barça B remains winless in Miniestadi.Yesterday drew with Celta de Vigo (1-1), Division II runner-up, and now accounts for nearly three months without a win at home.

The game started well for Luis Enrique’s team, which advanced the scoreboard at minute 8. Edu Oriol finished a great pass from Jonathan Soriano, who won the defenders’ back. The forward from Cambrils scored his second goal in the current season.

Celta reacted to Barça B initial goal and increased the game’s pace. The Galician team arrived again and again to the local area and put in serious problems the Barça’s defence. Barcelona also had several chances, but it always crashed into the defence of Galicia.

In the second game with Barça B, Thiago could not play with the dynamism that characterizes him because of the good defensive approach of Celta de Vigo in midfield.

In the second half, Celta continued to attack and it managed to tie at minute 62. Álex López finished a counterattack move.

With the tie, the Galicians believed in their possibilities and got in trouble Miño, who stopped a great shot of Garai at minute 67. Celta de Vigo kept trying to score, but it ran into a great Marc Bartra. The Catalan centre-back made a superb defensive game and he avoided three clear chances of scoring for the visitors in the final minutes.
